The Longwood Symphony Orchestra is a small nonprofit based in the WGBH building in Brighton, MA. We have another tenant organization, Boston Music Viva, and the office culture is very collaborative and friendly. We regularly have lunch or coffee together and share ideas and opportunities.

The WGBH building is a great place to work. We have free parking on-site, and there is a fitness facility (membership required) and a cafeteria available. From time to time, there are special events and food trucks parked outside. To license this space, however, organizations must be a registered nonprofit.

Included in the agreement would be the use of the wi-fi and office equipment (ink provided by the LSO). Also, we have a great common area for board meetings or other large-scale work.

The Longwood Symphony Orchestra is a unique organization that combines music and medicine to serve the Greater Boston community. Composed primarily of medical professionals who are also highly trained musicians, the LSO performs a series of orchestral concerts that help raise funds for Boston's medically underserved. The LSO also presents free chamber music performances at hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities.
