About the Host Company
Blowback Productions was created by Marc Levin in 1988. He and his producing partner, Daphne Pinkerson, have made over 20 films which have won Emmys, duPonts, Cable Aces, and numerous other awards and accolades. They have told powerful real stories in a unique authentic style.
Marc Levin has a long-term lease on 20,000 square feet of premiere office space in New York's landmark Starrett-Lehigh Building. The space stretches from 26th street to 27th Street with 180-degree views of lower Manhattan, New Jersey and upper Manhattan. It has been home to a colorful cast of characters and currently houses a diverse and multi-cultural community, which includes Alex Gibney's Jigsaw Productions (Enron Documentary, Lightning in a Bottle, Taxi to the Dark Side), Glue Editing and Design (a full post production facility owned by Ken Sirulnick and Steve Piquignot), Susan Lacy (American Masters) and many more.
